Olde Vechte Foundation (Youth NGO)
Olde Vechte is a foundation for training and coaching, it’s mission is to support people in their personal and professional development in order to create a word that works for every one out of love, care and cooperation.
Activities:
- organizing international trainings on a European level in order to stimulate the development of youth
- organizing international exchanges on a European level in order to deepen on subjects within the field of youth work
- supporting and coaching volunteers in the Synergy network that want to develop their own products in the field of youth work
- hosting EVS (European Voluntary Service) volunteers coming from all kinds of backgrounds, priority target group is for youth with fewer opportunities in their own country
- hosting foreign students and young graduates within the Leonardo and Erasmus Programmes for internships related to their studies
- hosting Social Work students for doing one year of internship, working throughout a competence model and applying the methods of learning to play – playing to learn, students practice the required skills that are needed for a youth worker and the foundation sets the playing field for these students.
