Training Course

1-7 March 2020 | Berlin, Germany

This training course aims to support people dealing with youth with di(vers)abilities to increase competences in developing quality Strategic Partnerships in innovation or exchange of good practice in the youth field within Erasmus+ YOUTH IN ACTION.

Strategic Partnership projects provide opportunities for sustainable international cooperation and innovation in the youth field within Erasmus+: Youth in Action. These projects have a lot of potential for the development of innovative ideas and concepts of wider relevance for the youth field in Europe. For that, Strategic Partnerships also offer a huge potential when it comes to the topic of inclusion.

We are looking for participants who:

  • are professionals working with young people in the social field: youth workers, social workers, (social) pedagogues, caretakers, youth leaders, working with disabilities (incl autism, sensory disabilities, diversabilities, learning difficulties, etc.)
  • are able to communicate in English (it will be the main working language)
  •  are directly working in an organisation or institution, based in one of the Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme countries
  •  are willing to develop or exchange good practices of working with youth on the international level
  • so far have not implemented a Strategic Partnership under Key Action 2 within the Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme
  • have a specific idea and willingness to develop and implement Strategic Partnership projects.

Throughout the 5 day course, you will have opportunities to: 

  • Explore essential aspects about Strategic Partnership projects being part of the Key Action 2 of Erasmus+: Youth in Action programme
  • Understand quality requirements for Strategic Partnerships
  • Get to know examples of such projects
  • Link the needs of the inclusion field with the opportunities of Strategic Partnerships
  • Explore what does it take to build and sustain an equal partnership among organisations
  • Understand the main principles of building a structure of activities, outputs and a budget of a Strategic Partnership project

Costs

Participation fee

This project is financed by the participating NAs of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.

Accommodation and food

Unless specified otherwise, the hosting National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre of this offer will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.

Travel reimbursement

Please contact your National Agency (NA) or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
