StartUP - Building a Mentorship Program for Young Entrepreneurs

5-12 November 2022 | Hemmersheim, Germany

This is a partnership project for equipping participating youth workers/leaders for building up a mentorship program with providing them with competencies necessary for development of entrepreneurship start up ideas and projects.

Aim of the project:

To enable youth workers coming from countries with high unemployment among youth and young adults to build a mentorship program, by equipping youth workers with competencies necessary for development of entrepreneurship start up ideas and projects.

The project is based on an intensive learning process to reach following objectives:

• To enable participants to go through a process of development of entrepreneurship projects and reflect on its different steps;

• To gain understanding on how to do entrepreneurship projects and how to make it relevant for the needs of young people struggling with unemployment

• To increase the knowledge of the background to entrepreneurship (theory, concepts, steps, philosophy);

• To raise awareness about the opportunities that the nature itself give us

• To tackle the hurdles of becoming a self-employed entrepreneur and teach the participants to discover market niches and opportunities in their local communities.

• To develop practical skills in designing and implementing entrepreneurship projects;

• Raising awareness and understanding the challenges that young people with fewer opportunities are experiencing

• Introducing tools regarding how enterprises tackle societal problems in respect of unemployment

• To motivate and guide youth workers to undertake and utilize entrepreneurship as a force for eco change

• To introduce necessary tools to youth workers on how to find innovative ways of tackling social problems in respect of young people with fewer opportunities.

Association BREZN E.V. is created to serve as a learning group that gathers people with different backgrounds and professions such as: young people, youth and sport workers, entrepreneurs, experts in different topics, migrants, refugees and of course many young people in general. Our aim is to be actively involved in the creation of healthy, educated and active German and European society.

The purpose of the association is cooperation with various educational institutions, organizations and companies to improve the standard of living and quality of life of the citizens. Introduction of regulations and strategies for the sustainable use of the capacities of local communities and municipalities.

Establishing contact and cooperation with young people, associations and networks of organizations at home and abroad to promote the development of citizens, with a special focus on marginalized and underdeveloped countries, improving living conditions and realizing guaranteed human rights.

Conducting events and activities for young people and charity. Promotion of sport as a means of maintaining health and as an opportunity for young people in particular to test and improve their performance.

The purpose of the Organization is achieved in particular through:
• Implementation of youth events and measures, especially educational events,
• Organizing and participating in sports-related and interdisciplinary sports and club events,
• Conducting sporting and other events for charitable purposes.

Costs

Participation fee

There is no participation fee.
 

Accommodation and food

Food, accommodation and local travel costs (only during the duration of the activity program) will be covered by the grant from the National Agency of Germany of the Erasmus+ Programme.

Travel reimbursement

Travel expenses: 100% of the actual travel expenses will be reimbursed to the participants by bank transfer after submitting the original travel documents up to the amount and in accordance with the rules specified in the Info Pack.

  • CYPRUS - 360 €
  • SLOVENIA - 275 €
