„Shaping youth dialogue – Equipping youth workers for public engagement“

Training Course

19-25 April 2026 | Kragujevac, Serbia

The SCC, Kragujevac and SOVI Institute from Slovenia are implementing the Erasmus+ youth project “Shaping Youth Dialogue”, aimed at strengthening youth workers’ skills for organizing and moderating public events for young people.

The training course will gather 20 youth workers from Serbia and Slovenia and aims to strengthen their competencies in planning, facilitation, and moderation of public events in the youth field. Particular emphasis will be placed on inclusion, active youth participation, and ensuring accessibility of content for diverse groups of young people.

Throughout the five-day intensive programme, participants will develop practical skills for designing and implementing debates, forums, public dialogues, workshops, and local youth initiatives. The training methodology is based on non-formal education principles, experiential learning, and simulations of real-life situations, enabling participants to enhance their confidence in public speaking, facilitation, and ethical moderation of public events.

The training will take place in Kragujevac, Serbia, from 19 to 25 April 2026, with programme activities scheduled from 20 to 24 April 2026.
