"Roots & Routes" is a 7-days program designed to train aspiring youth workers by exploring the link between local roots (‘Roots’) and global connections (‘Routes’)

“Roots & Routes: Youth Workers Strengthening Communities” is a 7-day training course co-funded by Erasmus+ and organised by Entropia APS based in Rende, Calabria, Italy.

This project includes the participation of 24 participants from all over Europe and aims at strengthening the competences of aspiring youth workers, providing them with fundamental and innovative tools to face the challenges of youth work by deepening the link between local roots (‘Roots’) and global connections (‘Routes’), so as to develop young professionals able to create a positive impact in their local communities, while maintaining an international and innovative perspective.

Entropia Cultural Association, founded in 1997, promotes cultural exchange and active citizenship through several activities. It has already developed awareness campaigns on issues of social interest (work, environment, drugs, peace, migrants, etc.) with the aim of stimulating reflection and debate among young people, their critical sense and their education as active and conscious citizens.

Participation fee

No fee is required for participation

Accommodation and food

Participants will be hosted in shared rooms and three meals per day, breakfast, lunch and dinners, will be provided.

Travel reimbursement

Travel costs will be covered according to the distance band of the Erasmus+ Programme.
