17-24 November 2025 | Mondsee, Austria

This training course is targeting Trainers and youth workers in the field of Non-Formal Education and wellbeing using theatre arts. The project aims to explore the potential of trainers and facilitators using performing arts on the topic of wellbeing.

About the Project – PAPAW: Performing Arts Promoting Awareness and Wellbeing

Target group: Youth workers and trainers in the field of non-formal education and wellbeing.

Goals & Content

This KA153 training course is designed for trainers who want to creatively approach wellbeing through performing arts (theatre, dance).

The course includes:

- preparation phase

- 1-week residential training in Austria

Competency development:

- Design and facilitation of performing arts & well being workshops

- Awareness of group learning processes in creative settings

- Self-directed learning (Learning to Learn)

 

What to Expect

- Development of new tools and methods for your youth work

- Exchange with like-minded peers from across Europe

- Creation of a resource toolbox for future trainings

- Group dynamics, physical expression, trust-building & reflection exercises

 

Participant Profile

We are looking for creative and socially engaged participants from Spain, Italy, Austria, Lithuania, Romania and Estonia who:

- Have experience in theatre, dance, or other performing arts

- Are interested in wellbeing and non-formal education

- Are active in their communities

- Are fluent in English (working language of the project)

Note: Some activities include respectful physical contact (e.g., in theatre, dance, energisers).

Participation fee

Selected participants will have to pay a participation fee of €50 to JUMBO

Accommodation and food

Costs for board, accommodation and training are fully covered by the Erasmus+

Travel reimbursement

Participants will receive a reimbursement up to the E+ bands amounts.
