Partnership-building Activity

24-30 August 2025 | Vilnius, Lithuania

We aim to connect youth organisations, and youth workers, from across Erasmus+ programme countries to form strategic partnerships that strengthen youth resilience to disinformation through media literacy education.

PBA on Media Literacy and Youth Work

To connect youth organisations, youth workers, and educators from across Erasmus+ programme countries to form strategic partnerships that strengthen youth resilience to disinformation through media literacy education, non-formal learning methods, and collaborative project development.

PROJECT AIMS:

1. To build sustainable partnerships between organisations for future Erasmus+ KA220  (or similar) youth projects.

2. To exchange good practices in using non-formal education for media literacy and countering fake news.

3. To develop project concepts jointly that target media education, critical thinking, and digital resilience among young people.

4. To explore how youth work can foster active democratic participation in the digital age.

Participant Profile

We are looking for motivated participants who meet the following criteria:

  • Aged 20+
  • Resident in an Erasmus+ programme country
  • Active as a youth worker, social worker, project coordinator, or young professional in the field of youth, education, or media literacy
  • Representing an organisation with the capacity and interest to apply for KA220 (Cooperation Partnerships) (or similar) projects under future Erasmus+ deadlines
  • Mandated to decide on potential project partnerships and future cooperation on behalf of their organisation
  • Have prior experience with Erasmus+ project writing 
  • Able and willing to actively contribute to networking, project ideation, and partnership-building during the activity

Participants should come ready to share good practices, contribute to project development sessions, and engage in meaningful cooperation that can lead to future Erasmus+ applications.

Costs

Participation fee

There is no participation fee.

Accommodation and food

Accommodation and food expenses will be covered by the organizers.

Participants will stay at Meda House, in triple to five-person rooms.
Three meals a day will be served at the venue.

Meda House is a rural tourism homestead situated approximately 4 kilometers from Vilnius.

Recreational Facilities: Guests can enjoy an outdoor swimming pool, sauna, and basketball/tennis playground.

Travel reimbursement

Travel costs will be reimbursed based on the distance band and Erasmus+ guidelines.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
