The Bureau International Jeunesse (BIJ) is pleased to invite you to a three and a half day contact making seminar to allow you to meet French-speaking partners from Belgium, France and Luxembourg.
You will also get information on the two European calls for projects to finance your future projects : solidarity projects (European Solidarity Corps) and participation activities (Erasmus +).
This activity is aimed at tandems of young people aged from 13 to 30 years old, and their youth workers. This meeting offers an opportunity to take a step back to reflect and discuss these themes with people facing the same realities. Profile of participants
Two-person teams comprising a young person and a leader or representative of a group of young people.
Number of places available : 17 young people and 17 workers from France, Luxembourg and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation
Young people :
You are between 13 and 30 years old
You live in Wallonia, Brussels, France or Luxembourg
You want to get involved in your neighbourhood and be involved in a solidarity or citizen action
Youth workers :
You work with young people on a daily basis OR you work in a youth organization as a director or other function where you can impulse projects
You already have an idea for a theme or activity to set up in the field of participation, solidarity or citizenship, while keeping an open mind to the ideas of potential partners
You live in Wallonia, Brussels, France or Luxembourg
Objectives :
- Create new partnerships, meet other young people and youth workers
- As workers, discover tools for supporting young people with fewer opportunities
- As young people, discover tools or ideas for the design, implementation and evaluation of a solidarity project or a participation activity
- Discover more in depth the possibilities of continuous training thanks to Erasmus +
- Understand how participating in a mobility program is an asset for youth structures and daily local work
- Understand the fundamental and qualitative elements of a successful mobility
- Develop your project idea
Place, dates
SleepWell youth hostel in Brussels, arrival on Monday 2nd of May in the afternoon before 5.00 PM, departure Friday 6th of May 2022 after lunch;
Icebreaker activity scheduled on Monday at 5:00 PM (see programme attached)

MOREOVER : If you wish, you can, additionally to the COMPULSORY SALTO application form, send your application in video form by email to aurore.phanmanhtien@cfwb.be . You can use your smartphone, and it can not exceed 1 minute by answering the questions of the form very briefly. Images will not be shown or reused outside of the selection process.
IMPORTANT : Please note that a national information session will be organized more or less one month before the residence. This participation is important and compulsory. In this way everyone will have access to the same information to start the contact making seminar.
