New Frames: Digital Storytelling Labs for Inclusive Youth Work

Training Course

23-30 November 2026 | Graus, Huesca, Spain, Spain

NEW FRAMES is an Erasmus+ training course where youth workers learn practical digital storytelling tools through photography and video, gaining skills to design inclusive activities, promote media literacy and empower LGBTQIA+ young people.

NEW FRAMES - Digital Storytelling Labs for Inclusive Youth Work is an Erasmus+ Training Course taking place in Graus, Huesca (Spain), from 23 to 30 November 2026.

The project brings together youth workers from different European countries to explore digital storytelling, media literacy and inclusive communication as tools to support and empower LGBTQIA+ young people.

Throughout the training, participants will experiment with photography, video, creative storytelling and other participatory methods while reflecting on representation, stereotypes, consent, privacy, ethical storytelling and the responsible use of personal experiences and images.

The course is mainly designed for youth workers aged 20-35 who work with young people in non-formal education, youth organisations, community or cultural projects, educational programmes or grassroots initiatives. You do not need advanced audiovisual or digital storytelling skills: the programme is aimed primarily at people at an early or intermediate level who want to strengthen their practice and develop new tools for working with queer young people.

NEW FRAMES is not limited to the residential training. Participants are expected to take part in the preparation activities, the full Training Course and a mandatory local follow-up activity after returning home, where they will share, adapt and put into practice some of the methods and knowledge gained during the project.

Please complete this form carefully and tell us about your experience, motivation and how you could use the learning from NEW FRAMES in your own context.
