Training Course
15-23 August 2026 | Domony, Hungary
This training course is designed for youth workers who wish to strengthen their facilitation competencies and deepen their understanding of human rights, inclusion, and active participation. It focuses on translating these values into everyday youth work practice and creating learning experiences that empower young people to become active members of their communities.
Throughout the course, participants will examine current challenges and opportunities related to human rights education and inclusive youth work. Special attention will be given to the role of the facilitator, group dynamics, and the creation of safe, participatory, and accessible learning spaces. Participants will have the opportunity to develop, test, and evaluate educational activities while receiving constructive feedback from peers and trainers.
The methodology is rooted in non-formal education and experiential learning, combining outdoor education, drama techniques, and arts-based approaches. The programme promotes peer learning, active participation, reflection, and learning through practice. Working in small groups, participants will design and facilitate workshops, experiment with different methods, and explore tools that can be directly applied in their work with young people.
This training represents the second edition of an annual learning initiative that aims to foster a growing community of facilitators and educators committed to quality youth work. Beyond individual learning outcomes, the course seeks to strengthen connections among participants, encourage long-term collaboration, and further develop a shared pool of educational methods, experiences, and resources.

Jatszoda Association (Youth NGO)
Founded in 2004, Jatszoda Association initially focused on supporting the development of young people with special educational needs. After a decade, the organisation shifted towards cultural and eco-conscious programs, emphasising the urgency of environmental education. The purchase of a 4-hectare property near Budapest, named "Dombfalva," facilitates eco-conscious programs with a strong focus on youth engagement.
Actively involving young people we promote environmental education, sustainable lifestyles, community building, volunteerism, active citizenship, physical and mental wellbeing and mobility programmes all facilitated through non-formal educational methods and art pedagogy.
In our experience, success comes from connecting environmental awareness with community involvement. We strongly believe that by fostering sustainability in both our environment and communities, we can make a lasting impact not only on the lives of the youth we engage with but also within the various circles surrounding us, extending from the local community to the international stage through our programs.
