Training Course
25 April - 5 October 2025 | Hungary
Lead the (ex)CHANGE international mobility program is a place to inspire and empower young people and youth workers to lead, connect and create impact through international and local youth work.
This practical training series aims to pass on our experience and knowledge as youth workers and to empower young people to take up leadership positions in their communities.
If you want to deliver international youth exchanges or local youth-led programs, you are at the right place!
Aim:
To empower young people to become confident and skilled youth leaders by equipping them with practical tools, knowledge and real-life experience in youth work — both at the local and international level — so they can design, facilitate and lead impactful youth initiatives in their communities and beyond.
Objectives:
- To equip participants with confidence, skills and readiness to take on leadership roles in their communities and initiate meaningful youth-lead programs.
- To develop participants’ competencies in youth work practices, including non-formal education, facilitation and youth participatory tools.
- To offer a practical learning journey, including real-life application through a youth exchange mobility project, allowing participants to practice their skills in a supported environment.
- To foster intercultural learning and cooperation among young people from diverse backgrounds, promoting inclusion, empathy and European citizenship.
- To support professional development of the youth sector in Europe.
Content:
The elements of this learning program are designed to facilitate young people’s professional development in youth work.
The two training courses are built on each other to learn about designing and facilitating learning in mobility project and on local level, therefore a youth exchange mobility program is also part of the learning journey as a first-hand practice experience.
