HITCHHIKER´S GUIDE TO BECOME TRAINER IN YOUTH IN ACTION
Training Course
19-23 February 2013 | Predeal-mountain area, Romania
The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Become a Trainer in Youth in Action (YiA) represents a concept for a series of Training of Trainers (ToT) modules co-organized by the National Agencies for YiA of Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania.
The training is aiming at skills development and quality improvement within the national trainer pools in each country. The whole series incorporates four separate modules of 5-day in-house training courses hosted by each partner NA which offer specific input for trainers working on national level with YiA beneficiaries.
The 4th module of the Hitchhiker’s Guide series is also called “Going International” as it aims at:
- building partnerships between trainers from different pools to start leading TCs at European level;
- developing common ideas to “sell” to NAs and their TCPs (to work on needs they have identified while working with young people);
The 4th module has also been designed with a personal development emphas, is not focused on skills development but looking at trainers as individual learners, searching for motivation, inspiration and new stimuli to meet the challengesof youth work.
