Hip-Hop Changemakers

Seminar

2-8 August 2026 | Lublin, Poland

Erasmus+ seminar for youth workers in Lublin, Poland (2–8 Aug 2026). Explore Hip-Hop Pedagogy through DJing, MCing, Street Dance & Graffiti workshops. Exchange NFE practices using hip-hop culture as a tool for positive youth change.

Hip-Hop Changemakers is a 5-day Erasmus+ seminar for youth workers and non-formal educators, taking place in Lublin, Poland (2–8 August 2026), organised by Sempre a Frente Foundation.

The seminar brings together practitioners from the field of non-formal learning and youth work who use — or wish to explore — Hip-Hop culture as a pedagogical tool. Through hands-on workshops in DJing, MCing, Street Dance, and Graffiti, participants will experience all four elements of Hip-Hop from the inside, gaining practical insight into how these art forms can be applied in youth work settings to foster creativity, resilience, and positive social change.

The programme is rooted in non-formal education (NFE) methodology and peer learning. Participants will visit local hip-hop spaces and street art sites in Lublin, engage in structured experience exchanges from their home communities, and co-create a shared understanding of what Hip-Hop Pedagogy means in practice.

This activity is designed for:

Youth workers, street workers, and non-formal educators (age 23+)

Professionals or volunteers working with children, youth, or young adults

Practitioners interested in integrating Hip-Hop culture into their NFE programmes

What's included: accommodation (Hotel Mercure Lublin), full board, trainers, accident insurance, and travel cost reimbursement in line with Erasmus+ rules.
