Training course on sustainability competence, bringing together youth workers to explore sustainable practices, develop green skills and foster international cooperation."

The Sustainability Competence Training Course is designed to enhance the competencies of youth workers in the field of sustainability, based on the GreenComp EU Sustainability Framework. Participants will gain knowledge, skills, and attitudes in areas such as sustainable development, environmental responsibility, and green transformation.

This unique program aims to equip youth workers with advanced knowledge and skills in sustainability, helping them to lead with environmental and social responsibility.

The training course supports youth workers in acquiring critical skills and advanced technical expertise in sustainability, enabling them to adapt to rapidly changing global environmental conditions. The program is structured around non-formal learning methodologies, combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications. It empowers participants to develop sustainable projects and create meaningful impact in their communities. Additionally, it fosters knowledge exchange and networking through interactions with academics and industry experts from across Europe on the topic of sustainable leadership.

The primary goal of this course is to empower youth workers in sustainable leadership and practices, cultivating leaders who act with environmental and social consciousness.

KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Explore sustainable leadership approaches and learn how to effectively implement eco-friendly strategies.
  • Develop their sustainability competencies within the GreenComp framework, enabling more informed decisions in ecological awareness and social responsibility.
  • Strengthen their ability to design and implement projects aligned with the green economy, environmental policies, and sustainable development goals.
  • Enhance their analytical thinking and strategic planning skills for sustainability-focused decision-making processes.
  • Learn how to combine team management and communication skills with eco-conscious leadership in diverse social and cultural contexts.
  • Gain the ability to develop proactive and innovative solutions to rapidly evolving climate policies and environmental challenges.

By the end of the course, youth worker will possess advanced knowledge and tools in sustainable leadership, environmental awareness, and green transformation, making sustainability a central pillar in their personal and professional development.

We are seeking youth workers from across Europe who play an active role in sustainability and youth work, are eager to develop innovative solutions, and aspire to lead environmental transformation.

The accommation will be at the Malazgirt Sultan Alparslan Youth Camp in shared rooms, each containing four beds. Each application should know that the accommation will be 3-4 participants in a room.
