‘Erasmus+ Open Mic: Raising awareness of HR!’ is an international initiative with the main goal of the project is to introduce the tool of Stand-Up comedy as a powerful approach to raising awareness about Human Rights and various issues related to it.

"Erasmus+ Open Mic: Raising awareness of HR!" is a dynamic Erasmus+ project that unleashes the power of stand-up comedy to inspire, engage, and empower youth workers across Europe. Our project offers youth workers an exciting opportunity to enhance their skills and make a real impact on young people's lives.

Dates/deadlines:
ARRIVALS: 6th June 2024
TRAINING DAYS: 7th to 13th June 2024
DEPARTURES: 14th June 2024

USING STAND UP COMEDY TO EMPOWER AND ENGAGE YOUNG EUROPEANS

The main goal of the project is to introduce the tool of Stand-Up comedy as a powerful approach to raising awareness aboutHuman Rights and various issues related to it.

Participants will :

Deepen their knowledge on Human Rights Education and related issues
Learn new techniques such as stand-up comedy, to develop new strategies for promoting inclusion
Enhance participants’ communication skills, creative thinking, social bonding, and critical thinking.
Promote and increase the visibility of the Erasmus+ program.

We are looking for 24 participants who are:

Youth Workers /Youth Leaders/Trainers/Educators/Human Rights Education Professionals/Human Rights Activists
21+ years old
Good Command of English
Residents in the partners’ countries of the project
High Motivation to Participate in all the projects’ activities

Trainers of the Activity will be Rasa Tucinskaite and Stefano Esposito

Participation fee

There's no participation fee. The project is 100% funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.

Accommodation and food

The project is 100% funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.

Travel reimbursement

The Erasmus+ Programme finances the travel of participants, up to certain limits depending on the travel distance. Participants, to ensure their presence, will have to provide for their travels and will get their reimbursement after completing the follow-up phase.

Max reimbursement amount per participant:

LITHUANIA: up to €23

LATVIA, POLAND: up to €180

LATVIA, POLAND (Green Travel): up to €210

GREECE, ITALY: up to €275

PORTUGAL: up to €530

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
