English language TC for youth workers (V4+EaP+Serbia)

Training Course

26-31 October 2021 | Bratislava region, Slovak Republic

The main aim is to break the language barrier and motivate youth workers active at the local/national level to start to organize international projects under program Erasmus+ especially in Key Action 1.

 The training course is dedicated to youth workers who would like to improve their communication skills in English as well as the digital literacy needed for the implementation of international projects, especially under the Erasmus+ program.

Partial Goals:

  •  to improve communication skills in English,
  •  to learn and practice vocabulary specific for Erasmus+: Youth projects, project management, international youth work
  •  to learn about the basics of international project management phases in English,
  •  to gain confidence in using English to develop and implement European youth mobility projects under the Erasmus+ Youth
  • to build and enhance the partnership between V4 countries and Eastern Partnership countries.


Young people who took part in Erasmus+ YOUTH IN ACTION and European Solidarity Corps projects: 

  •  young leaders, youth workers, active people planning to prepare international projects but feel the need to improve communication in English,
  •  who come from one of the following countries: Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Serbia or Eastern Europe and Caucasus Region,
  • who have a basic level of using English as a second language (who can use English in simple everyday situations) and want to improve their English language skills

    *Realization of  TC depending on the development of the current pandemic and the related travel, health and safety rules applicable to Slovakia, the course might be moved or implemented online.

Costs

Participation fee

This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the Erasmus+ Youth in Action Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.

Accommodation and food

The hosting NA of this offer will organize the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.

Travel reimbursement

Please contact your NA or SALTO in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
