Engaging Communities Through Sustainable Sport Communication

E-learning

15 October 2026 | online, Croatia

This webinar explores effective communication strategies, stakeholder engagement, and awareness campaigns at local and EU level that can be used by youth workers and trainers using sport as a tool in their daily work.

GreenSport 2030 is a European cooperation project under the Erasmus+ Sport programme that supports grassroots sport organisations in transitioning towards more sustainable, digitally enabled, and inclusive practices. The project introduces the GreenSport Hub, an AI-powered platform that allows sport organisations to monitor environmental impact, including energy use, waste, and carbon footprint, and to improve their performance through data-driven insights.

In parallel, the project delivers capacity-building activities for youth oriented professions and promotes circular economy  solutions such as equipment reuse, and facilitates policy dialogue to integrate sustainability criteria into sport governance and funding mechanisms. By combining innovation, education, and policy engagement, GreenSport 2030 contributes to EU priorities on climate action, digital transformation, and social inclusion in sport

This webinar is part of series of dissemination activities and explores effective communication strategies, stakeholder engagement, and awareness campaigns at local and EU level that can be sued by youth workers and trainers using sport as a tool in their daily work.
