ELIXIR- Pure Concentrate of Anti-discrimination

Training Course

18-25 July 2007 | Kandava, Latvia

ELIXIR is a TC with a focus on youth work with the topics related to racism and discrimination, giving youth workers an opportunity to explore the topic, to exchange experience, and to get new ideas for new activities.

Aim of the TC is to improve youth work in general and Youth in Action projects on racism and discrimination topics in particular by exploring different kinds of discrimination and its consequences in our societies. Objectives: - To explore the concept of identity. - To raise awareness of cultural, ethnic, religious, gender-based diversity. - To foster exchange of experience working with the problematic of racism and discrimination. - To offer the possibility of interaction with the local youth. - To provide useful information, new competences and learning methods for developing new projects and designing new activities.
