Don't Ignore, Act

Training Course

28 March - 5 April 2023 | Bucharest, Romania

The project aims to address the hate speech situation and join the No Hate Speech Youth Campaign, in order to reach out more efficiently our target groups (local youth).

Hence, our goal is to improve our effectiveness in tackling hate speech within our communities (offline and online) by:

  • Improving the competences of 18 youth workers from 8 partner NGOs in tackling hate speech (offline and online) among young people, through developing media literacy and critical thinking and promoting active citizenship attitudes during the 9 days of mobility.
  • Develop the active behaviour against hate speech (offline and online) among 160 young people from the NGOs’ local community by implementing 8 dissemination events and creating/disseminating a Don’t Ignore, Act e-booklet.
  • Enhancing the capacity of 8 EU NGOs to become active against hate speech offline in their local communities and online by following the No Hate Speech Youth Campaign guidelines and methods and establish further partnerships among the participant countries.
