The main objective of this training is to develop communication and cooperation competences using non-formal methodologies to apply in Youth work.
Main objective of this project is: To develop communication and cooperation competences in individuals for use in teams and group work, using non-formal methodologies, in order to apply in the Youth field, in daily work between youth workers and youngsters. Based on that we define more specific learning objectives: 1. To gain the knowledge about different forms, strategies, norms and mistakes of communication 2.To experience the barriers of cooperation and learn from them strategies to cope 3. To learn how to give and receive feedback 4.To gain skills of using non-violent communication methods by M. Rosenberg and adapt it to personal use 5.To gain skills of assertive communication 6.To acquire or raise competences in ICT tools for communication 7.To plan a session about communication for cooperation for specific target group and how to multiply the awareness of importance of the different forms communication and its benefits for the cooperation The Training Course treats communication as a main point but supports several objectives along the way. We base the main activity on the non-formal education methodology and activating approach towards learning. We expect a broad impact in the improvement of the skills for effective communication, understanding and facing barriers to cooperation, improvement of the international cooperation and improving the quality of cooperation and communication in youth work. Target group would not be only on participants and partners but as well on all sides involved planned in the dissemination: Other organisations, youth workers, trainers, educators, NAs by a wider diffusion of it on websites, SALTO, IYWT Guild and social networks.

Costs

The travel costs will be reimbursed according to Erasmus Plus guidelines, as follows, per participant: Czech Republic - 360€ Finland - 530€ Greece - 360€ Iceland - 360€ Italy - 275€ Norway - 530€ Poland - 360€ Slovenia - 275€ Spain - 275€ Portugal - 20€ Accommodation, meals and training material will be provided by the host organisation. There's no participation fee from the host organisation, but your sending organisation can ask you a logistics fee to support their work.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
