BACK TO NATURE - Outdoor Education (Youth in Action, Action 4.3)

Training Course

20 June - 1 July 2011 | Galyatető, Hungary

Participants will explore outdoor tools and activities – rockclimbing, low/high rope elements - that are used in outdoor experiential education.
The Back to Nature training is aimed at young people, youth leaders as well as voluntary, part-time and full-time youth workers and outdoor instructors. The aim of the BTN training course is to offer technical knowledge and skills in rock-climbing and low/high ropes course elements used in outdoor education. Themes of the training: • How to use rock climbing and ropes course in experiential education • Knots, equipment • Belaying • Safety management • Practice; climbing, abseiling, building rope elements
