Training Course

13-18 April 2026 | Arenas de San Pedro, Spain

A training Course on Social & Financial Education and learn how to teach social and financial skills to young people aged 13–16 using the Aflateen methodology.

This Training Course aims to strengthen educators’ competences to deliver high-quality Social and Financial Education (SFE) to teenagers aged 13–16 through the unique Aflatoun approach.

Participants will explore flexible, learner-centred methodologies that can be easily adapted to local contexts and educational realities.

The course combines practical tools, interactive learning and international exchange of good practices. In addition, participating organisations and schools will be invited to join the international Aflatoun Network, gaining access to global resources, peer support and long-term collaboration opportunities.

No participation fee.

 

Accommodation and food

You will be hosted in the Hostal Avenida in Arenas de San Pedro, an accommodation offering 18 fully equipped rooms with private bathrooms, heating, air conditioning, television, and free Wi-Fi, situated conveniently for exploring the natural and cultural attractions of the area. You will share the bedroom with one more participant.

Work and food arrangements

We will be hosted in the Casa de Espiritualidad - Nuestra Señora de Lourdes, by sympathetic Alcantarinas sisters. At our disposal, there is a working room facing a beautiful garden. Hopefully, the weather will let us enjoy the garden :)

Here we will enjoy homemade lunch and dinner, while breakfast will be served at the Avenida Bar.

Travel reimbursement

Travel costs reimbursement according the Erasmus+ Guide and after the activity has finished.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
