"EVS a tool for active Citizenship" is a long term training course based on 3 phases to be realised in 2010 and 2011.

  • 1st Phase in Mallorca
  • 2nd Phase coaching about EVS projects and partnerships
  • 3rd Phase in Spain

The first phase took place in Mallorca from 8 to 16 May 2010.

It was a training course offering a quality training on European Voluntary Service with new tools, methods to work and to develop projects within the Youth in Action Programme that foster the active citizenship to all the actors involved.

There was 31 NGO representatives from 7 Mediterranean partner countries and 3 European countries: Algeria, Egypt, France, Greece, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Spain, Tunisia.

During 7 days, the participants have prepared 10 European Voluntary Service to be hosted in Mediterranean partner countries and 9 other to be hosted in EU program countries that would represent 13 Mediterranean volunteers and 16 EU volunteers.
