Storytelling

Training Course

27 November - 2 December 2025 | Issor, France

We will learn how to create stories that really connect with young people and get messages across in an engaging way.

This Erasmus + cooperation partnership project (KA2), organized by Association La Villa (France), Lupa, Grupo de teatro (Portugal) and Društvo CIK (Slovenia) aims to give youth workers fresh tools to connect with young people through creativity and digital media. By combining storytelling (1rst Training Course), social theatre (2nd TC) and video creation (3rd TC), we want to help them share powerful messages, raise awareness about social issues, and inspire positive change. The main goals are to make youth work more engaging, to promote values like inclusion, equality and active participation, and to strengthen cooperation between organisations across Europe. In the end, the project supports youth workers to create meaningful content that speaks to today’s young people, both offline and online.

During this first part of the project, an Erasmus + mobility of youth workers, we’ll dive into storytelling as a fun and powerful tool for youth work. The idea is to learn how to create stories that really connect with young people and get messages across in an engaging way. We’ll explore different ways of telling stories, try out digital storytelling for social media, and use stories to talk about important values like inclusion, participation and sustainability. By the end, everyone will have new ideas and skills to turn stories into inspiring content for their daily work with youngsters.
