TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Amélie Lemarchand
This training aimed at helping volunteers assess their experience and their learnings so far and planning the end of their projects and future.
The team was composed of two trainers : one male trainer from Portugal and one female trainer from France.
The methods used during the training are part of the non formal education methodology :
- energizers, icebreakers;
- group building activities;
- small groups activities (research on Belgium culture, quizzes, etc).
- peer learning;
- mentoring.
The training was a success based on the individual evaluation form filled by all the participants and the group evaluation : they underligned that they really enjoyed the activities which helped them get support for some issues they have, understand the intercultural dimension of their experience, assess their learning and foresee their future.
I was in charge of designing workshops, facilitating them and writing the evaluation. I also had to manage some logisitic issues during the training with the venue's supervisor (cleaning instructions, meals organisation, etc).
Amélie is an enthusiastic, committed and skilled trainer, I totally would recommend her.
