Aims & objectives

“Eco Ambassadors” brought together young people from EU and partner countries to increase the awareness of young people on nature, ecology, recycling and environment pollution issues. The project supported to research environmental pollution problems, how environment effects our life and it promoted deeper understanding of the linkages between energy, climate change, social and development issues. The Youth Exchange supported youth to put in practice for their own community what they experienced during Youth Exchange and act as multipliers in their home countries.

Training methods used & main activities

The methodology used was learners-centered: encouraging active involvement of the participants, creative and critical thinking and the multiplying approach through promoting the idea of international co-operation in the field of youth work.

During the meeting was used non formal education techniques, the program was based on interactive workshops, games, round tables, debates and presentations, , recycling efforts,
