01.02.2013 - 09.02.2013

Aims & objectives

The name of the project is “Tehlikeli Sular – Dangerous Waters”

Ceyhan has a lot of irrigation canal around the town and villages which are belong to Ceyhan.
There are a lot of children swim in this dangerous waters and unfortunately a few number of them dies every year.
We are aiming to find out a fluent solution with this project.

The ideas of solving the problem;
We want to arise awareness about this heartbreaking problem among the local community with promotion campaigns, stands, brochures, flash mobs and posters.
By means of these activities we will make people aware about the dangerous waters and we will prepare a report for local authorities to make canals safer.
We will discuss with the local authority about swimming safety and making barriers around the canals.
Also, Participants will visit the villages which have these canals and see the local people with the purpose of making them pay attention about this important subject. Imagine that after putting that much effort on this, even one saved life will make you feel different in a good way.
