ZERO4CLIMATE

Designed as a KA2 Erasmus Project, ZERO4CLIMATE was developed to reduce the carbon footprint on university campuses, support the transition to sustainable lifestyles, and encourage green transformation. The project aims to involve leading institutions across Europe as partners.
The main objective of the project is to implement zero waste and circular economy practices on campuses, develop sustainable consumption habits among students and staff, and enable universities to contribute to the EU Green Deal and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 11 and 13).
The work will begin with an analysis of the current situation and the identification of needs. Based on the findings obtained during this process, training modules will be developed, awareness-raising activities will be carried out, and pilot applications will be implemented. International cooperation programs, sustainability camps, climate justice workshops, and creative future design activities will be included to ensure the active participation of students in the process.
The project aims to minimize the carbon footprint on university campuses, prepare guidelines for combating and adapting to the climate crisis, and develop a pioneering zero-waste and carbon-neutral campus model for higher education institutions.
The aim of our project is to find new partners from universities across Europe to spread this approach and contribute to the creation of sustainable campus models. The project is planned to last 30 months, with the goal of expanding its impact through the participation of new university partners.
