YouthAI Lab: Artificial Intelligence for Social Entrepreneurship

Youth Exchange empowering young people (18–30) to use AI for social entrepreneurship. Workshops, teamwork, digital tools and intercultural learning in Italy.

A 7-day Erasmus+ Youth Exchange that will take place in Chianciano Terme (Tuscany, Italy) and will bring together young people (18–30) from different countries to explore how Artificial Intelligence can support social innovation and community well-being.

The project responds to a growing need for digital and entrepreneurial skills among young people, especially in relation to sustainability, social inclusion and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. While AI technologies are rapidly evolving, many young Europeans still lack accessible opportunities to understand and use them in a constructive and socially responsible way.

Through non-formal education, participants will:
- discover practical AI tools useful for social entrepreneurship;
- analyse real social challenges connected to sustainability, inclusion and community development;
- create small prototypes or concept ideas using AI for positive social impact;
- strengthen transversal competences such as teamwork, intercultural dialogue, communication and problem solving.

The programme combines workshops, creative labs, intercultural activities, visits and reflection sessions (Youthpass). Activities will be delivered by experienced facilitators and youth workers using non-formal methods such as experiential learning, peer-to-peer cooperation, design thinking and group challenges.

The Youth Exchange supports the priorities of the EU Youth Strategy and Erasmus+, including:
Inclusion & Diversity – by involving participants with different backgrounds and offering a safe learning environment;
Digital Transformation – by improving digital literacy and introducing emerging technologies in a critical way;
Participation & Engagement – by empowering young people to act as changemakers in their communities;
Sustainable and Green Europe – by linking digital innovation with social and environmental responsibility.

The project will take place in cooperation with local stakeholders such as the Municipality of Chianciano Terme and the Etruscan Archaeological Museum, reinforcing the role of cultural heritage and community spaces in youth learning.

Expected results include:
- improved digital and entrepreneurial skills;
- increased knowledge of AI and its potential for social benefit;
- stronger intercultural competencies and European identity;
- creation of a small portfolio of project ideas and social concepts;
- long-term cooperation between partner organisations.

Countries involved: Italy (host) + partners from the EU/Programme Countries.
Age: 18–30 (youth participants) + group leaders.
Venue: Chianciano Terme (Tuscany, Italy).
Working language: English.

We are looking for partner organisations that:
