Youth support – be professional!
The background of international youth projects, from planning to evaluation.
International training course for youth workers, youth leaders
Eger, Hungary
7-12. September 2015.

We will organize a 6 full working days training course in Eger, Hungary for European youth workers, youth leaders. The main theme will be the backgrounds of international youth projects from planning to evaluation. Define and identify the meanings of a European youth projects get to know a well-planned project management. Explore ways of active participation as citizens by organizing community programs. Develop and plan local and international youth projects according to the proposals of E+ program. The overall aim of the training course is to train youth workers, youth leaders on supporting young people to get acquainted with the facilities of local and international grants and tenders in order to create correct and necessary youth projects. To foster recognition of young people’ rights and responsibilities as citizens locally and in European context and provide them appropriate tools of support to express their feelings, thoughts, curiosity, questions, etc. concerning this topic. To provide possibilities for young citizens being active in local and European level.

Learning objectives of the training course are:
- To get acquainted with the support facilities of international youth projects;
- To define rights and responsibilities of a European citizen;
- To foster understanding the different ways of active participation through organizing community programs;
- To use community management as positive tool for promotion of rights and responsibilities of European citizens;
- To create projects on European citizenship with using non - formal educational tool according to the proposals of E+ program.

There will be 30 participants from 10 different countries.

The implemented activities and the methods applied:
The training course is based on non - formal education. It consists of non – formal, informal and formal learning elements, based on the needs and expectations of participants. It is learner-centered and it has huge self-directed learning process. Self-assessment part will be provided and ensure several creative and participatory methods for participants. The experienced trainers’ team will provide several active methods and tools for participants in order to become active most of the time. Participants will work in individually, in pairs, in national and mixed pairs. Methods will be used: brainstorming, thought shower, creative writing, questioning, making interviews, montage, active listening, role plays, etc.
