Youth involvement in advocacy for youth EQUITY

By gathering young people aged (18-30) from different groups who will work with each other for eight days, to create all together a short movie, with the goal to advocate about the importance of youth equity. The short movie can lead as a result of (focus groups, social experiments, research, needs and suggestions which they are going to be addressed by the participants).

• Aims:
1. Understanding the importance of youth equity by the participants;
2. Breaking the stereotypes between different groups of young people;
3. Learning the difficulties which each group faces and embracing their situation;
4. Advocating in their future projects the need for youth equity.

• Objectives:
1. Engagement of the participants in activities such as role play, recognising the importance of youth equity for a safer and more productive society.
2. Knowing each other difficulties through non-formal ways (open library sessions, blind theatre (hearing the stories of each participant without having eye contact),
3. To embrace the participant's feelings, trying to “be in their shoes” by exchanging experiences.
4. Producing a short movie, which is going to address the difficulties of each group and is going to offer possible solutions to provide equity.
The Project objectives link with the specific objective of Education and training which is to foster quality improvements, innovation excellence, and internationalisation at the level of education and training institutions, in particular through enhanced transnational cooperation between education and training providers and other stakeholders.
