Associação 5 Elemento + 19 organizations based in programme countries (27 EU countries, Croatia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland and Turkey)

Teams:
2 participants (aged 15-30) per partner. Participants should be interested in forests and policies related to them.

Summary:
Since the year of 2011 is the International Year of the Forests, Associação 5 Elemento wants to debate the problems that come from the lack of forests protection and change and discuss the pre designed ideas of the young people about the conservation of forests. With the goal of achieve sustainability, it is necessary to listen and to debate different ideas about this subject in order to reach well-founded conclusions. This meeting will have the participation of experts on this subject, but we also will give time and space for the young people to participate and share their ideas. This project will happen in the city of Castelo Branco due to its proximity to Tejo Internacional Natural Park and Estrela Sierra (Serra da Estrela), two important Portuguese forest areas, between October 17 and 22, 2011.

- A brief description of your organization and how you can contribute to this project (activities, ideas, similar past experiences, etc.);
- Name of project coordinator / contact person, direct email address and phone number;
- If you will include people with fewer opportunities in your team, how many and what are their backgrounds;
- Extra costs that might be associated with participants with fewer opportunities (e. g. support persons);
- What is your nearest airport and the cost (per person) to reach it from where you live (round trip);
- Cost estimation for a round trip ticket between your nearest airport and both Lisbon airport (IATA code: LIS) and Porto airport (IATA code: OPO);
- Cost of a visa to come to Portugal (if applicable);
- Associated costs to get the visa (e. g. travel costs to embassy) (if applicable);
- A scan of your fully filled part 3 (you can find the template enclosed, DO NOT USE OUTDATED FORMS) (alternatively, part 3 can also be sent by fax to +351 214 757 661, please mention that in your reply). To be sure your part 3 is correctly filled, please check the attached document.

Then, AFTER BEING SURE YOUR DIGITAL PART 3 IS CORRECT (CHECK THE ATTACHED DOCUMENT) AND HAVING SENT ALL THE INFORMATION REQUESTED ABOVE, send 2 ORIGINAL COPIES by post to:
