Youth for Sustainability - Mobility of youth workers (KA153-YOU)

The main objective of our project is to create youth and youth workers knowledgeable about climate change with a focus on food insecurity and permaculture, giving them the right skills to raise their voices and contribute to the issue.

Some of the activities of our project are as follows;
Training activities will be carried out on topics such as climate change, food safety, recycling, waste management, environmental awareness, self-sufficiency, value creation and digitalization. Non-formal learning methods will be used in these training courses.
-Group activities will be carried out; presentations, discussions, simulations, etc.
-Participants will conduct surveys and interviews on issues such as climate crisis, food security and recycling/recycling in their own regions and share them with other participants.
-Interviews will be held with decision makers and experts in their fields and visits to institutions such as universities, NGOs and ministries will be organized.

Partner Profile
-We are waiting for all organizations with high energy and willing to learn and teach.
-Organizations working on similar issues to our project are preferred.

Participant Profile
-Young people and youth workers who are 18 years old and above (there is no age limit), who speak English well enough to express themselves, youth workers, youth leaders, who can transfer their experience and knowledge, who can play an active role in the project, who are responsible, enthusiastic and willing: As participants of the project, they will be trained on climate change and permaculture and will have the opportunity to share experiences and network with young people from different cultures. At least half of the participants will be geographically, economically and culturally underprivileged. In addition, gender balance will be considered when selecting participants.
