Youth exchange (under 18 yo / sustainable development)

Who we are : Hi, i'm Eline, and i'm working in an organisation name the "House of Europe" in Le Mans (Sarthe - France). We are also a Europe Direct Information Center for a few years now. 

My job is to encourage european mobility among youth who don't have an easy access to it (Under 18 years old, from rural areas, disadvantaged socio-economic background...). 

Currently, i'm helping a youth organisation to write and develop its own youth exchange in the Erasmus+ framework for the first time ! We want to apply for the october deadline. 

Who we are looking for : The group of young people im working with now is a group of 15 teenagers who are between the age of 13 and 15 years old now. We are looking for a similar group in size and ages. Also, they're coming from a rural area and would love to exchange with youth in the same situation. We have no preference with countries, just that it need to be from the European Union. 

Our projet : We want to develop a youth exchange that will be in 2 parts during summer 2021. The first one here (mid-july) where we welcome the group in France for a week or so, and the second one (mid-august) where our group comes to your place for a week. We want the group to be the same, so that the youth can build deeper connection and work together on a project around sustainable development.
