Youth exchange project "DIGYouth action for green reaction"

The Youth Exchange activity is dedicated to increase youth activism for engagement related to green practices for sustainability. The objectives of the youth exchange are Developing knowledge and skills to preserve a green environment through the use of digital tools; and; Encouraging activism and participation of young people in their societies through the promotion of green practices among their peers.
During a period of 6 days, in total 20 youth from different countries will have a chance to discuss and share their experiences for green practices. What is more they will increase their communication and intercultural competences while developing ideas for environmental improvement through activities for increasing activism and engagement of peers in their local community. Involved youth should be motivated to enjoy activities related to improving community and be willing to promote green practices in their local community. According to the activities within the exchange, youth will actively engage in sharing ideas and improve digital skills in developing articles and practices for increasing environmental awareness among their peers.
The project envisages support for the APV preparatory meeting held online. APV activities will be related to determining the needs and desires of the representatives of the participants in the exchange.
The youth exchange will be implemented within the period of 01 – 07 June 2023 and it will take a place in Struga, North Macedonia.

Profile of participants:
- total of 20 participants, including 16 young people from the age group 17-25 years. Four group leaders (25-30 years), who have prior experience in youth exchange.
- giving the opportunity to involve participants with fewer opportunities is added value of the project.
- motivated to develop activities for awareness increasing
- fluent in English (not obligatory)
- fully participate for the whole duration of the project
- actively to engage in the activities
- be part of the organization that are partner (the project will include 3 organizations to take part as partners sending 5 participants per organization)
- YE is free of charge. Travel costs will be refunded according to distance band.

Interested partner organization are expected to:

- sign the Partnership Agreement
- provide 5 motivated participants for the YE (1 youth leader + 4 young people)
- have the capacity to provide contribution to the timetable of activities
- regular responsive communication in real time
- provide a proper pre-departure training
- be fully involved in the dissemination process in respective country
