Youth Exchange "(In-)Visible Borders"

We are looking for european partners to organize an youth exchange in the french and german crossbording region about awareness of borders in Europe !

The project could be organized 2017 or 2018

Topics and global objectives:
- Find out why the EU is important as a supranational level of cooperation and decision : which sectors are concerned by a supranational cooperation and why
- Think about the awareness of borders in Europe (fading since the 90’ thanks to Schengen and coming back since 2011-2012 because of the “migrant crisis”)
- Think about the question of identity : What are the components of my identity ? Which role are playing history, moral values, culture, languages, religion... on it ? How are built national identities: why do I define myself first as French (for example) and than (perhaps) as European citizen ?
- Think about EU as an object of rememberance / can we tell about an european rememberance and if yes, which role does it play in an european citizenship ?

Our region offers lots of activities and interesting places to visit in the context of international youth exchanges, especially about french and german history and european topics.
Our team speaks French, German and English and is trained on methods of intercultural learning and group dynamics.
