partners are needed for an exchange taking place in a rural area, the theme being: Healthy life style (sport , food, habits) in a clean environment
We are a young organization promoting non formal education in supporting personal development in a community of young people experiencing the blend between rural environment and urban culture, as they live in a 10.000 inhabitants town located at not more than 60 km of the capital of our country, Bucharest. The location offers good conditions and nice surroundings.
We are seeking partner organizations for the 1st of May application deadline in order to apply as host for a Multilateral Youth exchange.
The themes of our exchange are Education through sport and outdoor activities and Promoting a healthy lifestyle
Our main goal is to enhance awareness over the concept of healthy life style among young people of the participating countries through three types of activities:
- Sport and outdoor non formal education activities
- Food preparation: choose bio ingredients and help preparing a healthy food
- Discussions over dangerous habits: smoking, substance abuse, violence, computer abuse observing the differences and resemblances in perception in different countries from environmental, social , economical point of view emphasizing possible different approaches encountered in urban and rural areas.
This project is expected to be largely intercultural because will bring together a large diversity of youngsters from different cultures on a common interest issue.
Among the project we will keep into perspective the relevant aspects related to European citizenship connected to the above mentioned themes.
Group: 7 pax + 1 leader from each partner country (aged between 16 to 25
years old)

Period of exchange: August, 16-27, 2013
Participation Conditions: accommodation, 70% of travel costs covered by
the "Youth in Action" Programme.
