Youth exchange "From Hero to Zero"

CET platforma Skopje is looking for partners for a project “From Zero to Hero” that is planning to submit to Macedonian National Agency on 7th of May 2020 deadline. The project is envisioned as 8-days youth exchange for young people and youth leaders coming from 6 European countries that will be organized in the end of 2020 in North Macedonia.

PROJECT SUMMARY:
The main aim of the youth exchange "From zero to hero" is to bring together 36 young people from 6 different countries and to introduce them with the concept of entrepreneurship as a solution for the youth unemployment.

One way to overcome unemployment is to educate about and promote youth entrepreneurship and that is why we would like to apply with this project as an attempt to break the dominant pessimistic limiting belief that govern young people. What better place to start with the introduction with the concept of entrepreneurship than with sports?! Sport is one of the greatest motivators of our time. It is about excellence, pushing yourself to the limit and also taking success and failure in your stride. What is required for being successful entrepreneur, the same is required for being successful in any sport. Entrepreneurship is the act of creating a business starting from the scratch, which requires faith in your ability, thinking big, discipline and strategical thinking. Same can be said for any sport.

The objectives of the project are:
- to raise awareness about entrepreneurship education
- to gain an entrepreneurial mindset and skills
- to combat youth unemployment as a common problem in Europe through using non-formal learning tools
- to learn about the philosophy of different sports
- to exchange best practices between the participants
- to foster future cooperation among organizations
- to raise awareness about the Erasmus+ program

The working methods used throughout the youth exchange will be various non-formal educational and creative methods that will include: brainstorming, discussions, groups work, work in small and big groups, simulations, debates, theatre, role-playing, presentations and outdoor activities.

Please use the format of the PIF that we attach to this call for partners. It doesn’t need to be the same document, but it MUST have the answers to all questions included in it or otherwise we will discard your email.
