Youth employment in Europe

Our organisation wants to build up a partnership building activity about youth employment. We are looking for partners of the YIA-Programme in different countries to meet during the seminary and to develop tools. The project treats the subjects of youth employment. The Volunteer Service is often a first step on the way to the professional sector. As a sending and coordinating organization of the EVS, we work a lot with young people and are often confronted to the problem of youth employment in the context of European mobility. The partners do also work in this field with young people. Our objective is the creation of new partnerships for the EVS and the seminary shall serve as a base for those. European mobility is very important today for the experiences and the personal and professional development of young people. We work on these aspects during the seminary and underline the importance of the EVS and the international cooperation which lead to a good accompaniment of young people to find later work in an international context.
This includes different topics. We work particularly on problems that young people are confronted to when they search for work in another country. Besides the seminary serves to exchange with other organisations about their experience in this field and to develop tools that might help the young people to facilitate this. With the partners, we wish to discover and explore the possibilities and already existing tools.

We want to take a census of what exists already and develop new methods that could be useful for young people to find work in an international context. This implies an approach in direction of the employers to use international CV, documents and other tools.

We are looking for structures in others countries that work with young people in the field of employment, especially transnational employment.
