Youth Democracy Mentor

Looking for partners to Visegrad Fund project from Czech Republic and Poland

During the project we plan a youth democratic mentoring program. Active, motivated young people between 18-30 will be trained as youth mentors in a youth exchange. During the training their competences, communication skill will be developed.
Altogether 16 young people will be trained for youth democratic mentors (4 people from all V4 countries), and facilitators will help them during the project.
Main activities:
- searching for schools, involving target group
- First interview: choosing the participants – by their motivation, competences, and skills (such as English knowledge)
- European democratic citizens training (16 people from all the four countries) in Hungary – preparing the youth democratic mentors
- preparing the youngsters for „EU-citizen road show” – in the road show the youngsters will implement the programmes which they have developed together during the training. These programmes are aimed to reach more cities and education institutions in their own country
- Implementing EU road show – the youngsters are involving more and more other young people – they will make training for these new participants in local level
- The youngsters will help in secondary schools to inform about the EUROSCOLA programme, and help the motivated students to prepare for the contest
