Youth Community Leaders: Empowering Young People as Multipliers for Local Action

We are currently developing an Erasmus+ Capacity Building in the Field of Youth (CBY) project focusing on youth community leadership, participation and youth-led local action, with a strong emphasis on Sub-Saharan Africa.

The project aims to empower young people as community leaders and multipliers through non-formal education, youth mobilities, capacity building for youth organisations, and community-based actions. Core values include inclusion, non-discrimination, active citizenship and safe participation.

Planned activities include capacity-building activities for youth organisations, training courses for youth leaders and youth workers, study visits, youth-led local actions, peer learning between partners, and the development of practical tools and dissemination activities.

We are interested in mutual partnerships with youth organisations and NGOs that are working on similar themes, including youth leadership, participation, community development, civic engagement, social or environmental challenges.

We are open to co-designing activities, sharing responsibilities, hosting or participating in mobilities, and building long-term cooperation beyond a single project.

Organisations from Sub-Saharan Africa are particularly encouraged to connect, while EU-based organisations with relevant experience or interest are also welcome.
