Youth Communicating Through Traditions

The cultural traditions and folk dances are the bridge for communication and social inclusion of young people with special needs from different countries.

The active participation of young people from the rural community together with young people with special needs from other countries in the profitable activities carried out within the project or visits to the points of interest in the area will develop their creativity. Some of them can be co-opted in the future cultural projects carried out within the community, which will increase their degree of acceptance in the daily life of the Romanian village and their work will be recognized and appreciated by the community.
Each organization involved in the project will have the opportunity to present the methods applied in their countries for the inclusion of young people with special needs and to apply the exercises and experiences gained during the project in their youth communities where they currently work.
The project will be a Small Scale Youth project with a budget of 60 000 euro. Three partners with experience in working with people with special needs will be involved. The countries will be selected to have different culture traditions, religions and background.
