Carrying for the youngest: Training and Certification of high quality young babysitters
During the last years, more and more parents have expressed the necessity to have a trained young person to babysit their children. As the rhythm of everyday life and schedule accelerates, working on non-regular working hours is common for parents, children spend more valuable time with their babysitters than with their parents. This fact upgrades the babysitters role as the personality that have to be a role model for the children, making essential their training and certification of their skills and competences. Most babysitters are young and the lack of certification combined with the absence of a unique accreditation system for young babysitters opposes the emergency of the development of a training system for young babysitters that will be followed by a certification process. Finally, the lack of a systematic and holistic approach on the certification of the mental serenity and capabilities of the babysitters enforces to take action or the development of tools that will identify the capability of a babysitter to offer services to young children.
