YOUR-MOVE project aims to tackle educational poverty through the concept of movement, understood as a tool capable of triggering positive change.
YOUR-MOVE project aims to tackle educational poverty through the concept of movement, understood as a tool capable of triggering positive change.
Movement is sport, which promotes physical and mental well-being, respect for rules, cooperation, and inclusion; it is travel, as an opportunity for openness, intercultural understanding, exchange, and personal growth; it is civic participation, as an exercise of active citizenship, respect, and responsibility.
Through these dimensions and in collaboration with schools, the project aims to build a transnational educational community capable of reducing educational poverty, starting from the personal movement of each participant.
Through educational sport, non-formal learning, and cooperation with schools, YOUR-MOVE aims to create an integrated educational ecosystem involving young people, families, and the community. Activities include afternoon sports courses for children and parents, educational workshops for children (creative, civic, and environmental), and family support initiatives, strengthening the link between formal and non-formal education.
We are looking for European partners (sports clubs/organizations and associations) that work or wish to work in schools and with young people from socially disadvantaged contexts. Partners will contribute to the development of inclusive sports methodologies, the exchange of good practices at the European level, and educational cooperation pathways.
