younth for homeless people

Our organization manages many structures for homeless people, such as dormitory, lunch and dinner services, hospitality and integration into society.

Venice is the capital of region and in its territory, with about 200.000 residents and 20 million of tourists per year, there are over hundreds of homless people and very poor people who are not able of live and work, due to psicological, health and mental problems. There are many places where these people can find help, food, first aid and clothes. We try to give our help to the territory offering two structures for short period of sleep, two places where we can offer warm and well-preparated food.
We look for adult and motivated volunteers who want to share with other our local and permanent volunteers the experience of helping people servicing food every day, talking with them, giving them a friendly and warm relationship.
We wish to start a deep relation of rispect and dignity with our special poor guests.
We organize scheduled meetings with volunteers in order to listen expectetions, needs and find out new challenges.
We prefer volunteers who share our Catholic belief because we offer religious services and meetings or volunteers who belief in strong, deep and serious dignity of every human being.
