Call for partners from EU countries for a project in the framework of European Remembrance.
The project main objective is to foster the European remembrance and values of peace and to bring a common understanding of EU history among younger generation.
The core activity of the project is the international amateur film festival (entitled “YoungAbout”) to be held in Bologna in March 2016. The main topic of the festival is the reflection on WWII addressing the EU youths.
From September 2015 to February 2016 the partners will launch the video competition (call for video) for youths on WWII. We ask to each partner to inform about the festival in its local community. Then we will gather short movies from each country and will select a winner (with a money prize) for each country that will be invited to the festival.
Besides the festival itself, the project includes conference on “Cinema and Didactic”, training given by professional journalists (prior the festival) and creation of youths jury.
We'll reimburse the travel cost 100% (up to a maximum of 250 €) and we will cover 100% the accommodation and food cost.
