Young in Europe

"Young in Europe" - Is communication and narratives with dance + drama work as an educational tool. Through workshops we create performances for dialogue.

From Friday, October 19th to Friday, 26th of October, we will work with Argentine tango and drama as educational tools to create stories based on the topic "Being Young in Europe". We will be young people from at least 4 different European countries, who will exchange stories and experiences from our home countries. We will create a dialogue that develops and educates all of us, so that we get a better understanding of who we are in Europe. Our tools are dance and drama because it is our passion and and because we have many years of experience in using these tools as non-formal education. During the week we will stay in a holiday center with holiday houses, 2 for each country and indoor pool. We live very close to the sea on the Danish island of Bornholm. A real vacation paradise. We will all make dinner 1 evening for everybody to introduce our home country. Lunch will be served everyday. Wednesday, October 24th, we will visit Campus Bornholm. On campus we will perform, teach and create dialogue with the young people who live on Bornholm and taking their youth education. First and last evening are party nights where we all will eat well, dance and have fun. We will be around 40 participants. Our teacher is both from the project and others who are booked to teach. Everyone is professional and has a lot of experience. We want the project to create good, strong bonds, perhaps even friendships for life between young people in Europe.
