Young Ideas in Preventing Technology Addiction

This Youth Exchange project will bring 30 participants from the program countries. The activity which lasts 8 days will be implemented in Yozgat Turkey by Yozgat SORGED Sorgun Gençlik Derneği

In our project, by searching the effects of technology addiction on our young people, we aim to arrange several free time activities to raise awareness about the technology addiction on young people and protection ways. So, the youngs are planned to get further from technology addiction thanks to secure, educative and amusing activities. Thus, the youngs from different nations and cultures will come together and share their knowledge about the fight against the technology addiction and have chances to present clever solutions to the problem. In our project the participants are supposed to gain awareness about the conscious use of the technology, learn new approaches about how to use technology which has been an indispensable part of our lives correctly, be conscious about the harms of technology addiction, have creative, reflective and critical thinking and comment skills, develop problem solving skills, English competences and teach some small words from their own languages to the other participants and develop foreign language strategies, develop their knowledge and competences about the European Union Education and Youth programmes.
