Young Drivers

Project aims to reduce use of mobile phones while driving

Objective of the project ˝Digital road” is to raise awareness campaign on dangers of texting while driving, especially among youth. With awareness campaign we want to reach at least 100 young drivers in the streets and 1000 youngsters on social media per partner country (5000 youngsters online). We will do this by directly involve 100 young drivers on streets of our communities and target at least 5000 youngsters with our video campaign on social networks and Internet.

We believe that project’s impact will change attitude of youth on their capacity to text and drive and in this way change driving habits of young drivers. Objective of the project is also that participants actively involve in their local communities, practice their citizenship competences and take action to change something instead of waiting for others to do it for them. While working on raising awareness, another objective is that participants learn and improve digital competences and civic and social competences.
