Young ambassadors of European Culture!

We are working now on a new project, so if you're interested in joining us please send your PIF at iohana4@yahoo.com, trying to focus your description on the experience you have working with youth from minorities, with less opportunities,at risk of social inclusion etc.
The project targets a youth exchange with the aim of developing social and intercultural skills, promoting inclusion and diversity by increasing respect for traditions and customs.
The objectives are:
1. The 50 participants (youngsters and leaders) to acquire knowledge related to: culture and traditions of the 5 countries involved; dancing, traditional music and the importance of their preservation and transmission to future generations; creation of handicraft products specific to each country.
2. The young participants to develop the following skills: teamwork; self-reflection on personal identity, national and European diversity and openness; creativity and expression of opinions; ability to speak and understand English.
3. The participants will organize a Culinary Festival with food from the countries which they come, in front of at least 50 people in the last day of the exchange, and an exhibition with the products realized during the handmade workshops.

The following types of activities and workshops will be organized:
- Energizers
- Activities to improve group dynamics: name games, icebreaking, team building etc.
- Evening activities: cultural evenings and nights in which we organize social games
- Handamade workshops, every day being made different objects
- "Create a new project" workshop

This project will bring together 50 participants from 5 organisations (8+2 from each country) .
